Afghanistan
Gabriel Andrén is project manager for FBA's work with the Swedish development cooperation strategy for Afganistan. He has previously led FBA:s work with Myanmar.
Gabriel comes from the civil society sector where he has worked regionally in Asia with development issues. He has longstanding experience from several departments within the Swedish Government Offices, including foreign diplomatic missions such as the Swedish embassy in Thailand and the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in New York.
Furthermore, Gabriel has held positions at the Swedish embassies in North Korea, Greece and Kosovo. He has an academic background in economics with a specific focus on Myanmar.
