Sustainable peacebuilding | support to peace processes
Saba Nowzari is head of FBA:s unit for sustainable peacebuilding. She has previously worked with peace-building efforts in conflict-affected areas, mainly in the Middle East and North Africa. Her work focused on conflict prevention, resilience-building, and organizational development within the civil society sector. Saba has also worked with advocacy and policy-making on an international level, especially in regards to the women, peace and security agenda. During the intra-Syrian peace talks in Geneva in 2016, she served as adviser to the Syrian opposition’s female negotiators.
