Karina Shyrokykh, a member of FBA’s International Research Working Groups, leads a new research project that aims to shed light on how Transnational Municipal Cooperation can be deployed in crisis situations.

Helena Vazquez Sohlström currently holds the position as Director at the Department for Bilateral and Regional Cooperation. She has a long experience working within the field of security, development and governance in conflict-affected countries, among them Kosovo and Montenegro. Formerly Helena also had the position of political adviser for the Special Representative of the OSCE to Kyrgyzstan, where she specialized as peace-building adviser for International Alert.
