Security Sector Reform Assessment Framework

The Security Sector Reform Assessment Framework is intended to facilitate information gathering and analysis in support of decision-making, programming, monitoring and evaluation.

While primarily based on Swedish conditions, the framework may serve as an outline for assessments carried out by other governments, institutions and organizations. As such, the FBA sees the framework as a living document, to be continuously updated and developed, and therefore encourages feedback on the material to improve future editions.

With the mandate to monitor the ceasefire and prevent the conflict between Georgia and Russia from reigniting, the mission works to promote stability and security – and to help ensure a safer daily life for the people affected.

FBA’s Gender-Responsive Leadership (GRL) Initiative is designed to support leaders and managers within organizations such as the EU, UN, ECOWAS, OSCE and the African Union to fulfill their central role in enabling gender equal peace, security and development work.
