In 2006, the Iraqi government made national dialogue as a way to reconciliation a top priority. Through a series of dialogue meetings, carried out between 2008 and 2010, the FBA project known as the Sandö Process aimed at supporting the reconciliation process.
The aim of this publication is to describe the main ideas behind the process through the words of those who organized it, and some of the Iraqi partners. By sharing some of the main themes and memorable moments from the meetings, the hope is that the particular spirit that has guided the Sandö Process will prevail.
