Civilian peace operations

By seconding Swedish personnel to international organisations and peace operations, FBA contributes to disseminating Swedish expertise in peace and security and to strengthening Sweden’s influence over the design and implementation of international civilian peace operations.

FBA is one of several Swedish government agencies that provide personnel contributions to civilian peace operations. On behalf of the Government, we are tasked with continuously compiling Sweden’s total personnel contributions. We also second Swedish personnel to international election observation missions.
