Launch of FBA scholarship programme for EU Eastern partnership countries

To continue its commitment to support the Eastern partnership countries in their contribution to EU Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) civilian missions as third states, the FBA launches a scholarship programme for training.

The FBA scholarship programme for the EU Eastern partnership countries will be launched on 15 November in conjunction with the closing ceremony of the course CSDP Missions and Operations: From Planning and Launching to Recruitment and Deployment. Within the scholarship programme, FBA offers each of the Eastern partnership countries to send two persons free of charge to a course organized by FBA during 2014. The criteria for nominations are (1) the nominee should have the appropriate qualifications to attend the course; and (2) the course should be related to CSDP.

The scholarship programme will be launched by Sven-Eric Söder, Director-General of the FBA. He is also pleased to welcome the Eastern partnership countries’ ambassadors resident in Stockholm to take part in the event.
