UN Senior Mission Leaders Course

The course for UN senior mission leaders aims to prepare potential future mission leaders for leadership roles and responsibilities in United Nations peacekeeping operations.

The course is arranged by the UN but with support from the FBA.

Course subjects

The course enables member state officials who cover peacekeeping issues to
better understand how multidimensional United Nations peacekeeping missions operate. Participants will also gain a wider understanding of the UN as a whole.

Target group

The course will appeal to recently appointed or future leaders in UN peacekeeping operations. Gender balance among participants is encouraged.

Training for women peacebuilders in Colombia

Colombia has elected a new president. It remains to be seen how this will affect the ongoing peace process. FBA’s support for a peaceful development in the country continues nevertheless. During summer, FBA arranged a training on security, dialogue and mediation for women’s organizations in Colombia.
